Boost the Budget 2019/2020

Fans helping Dowse rise to the challenge of the National League – Boost the Budget !

When we last got promoted to the National League Premier fans launched Boost the Budget to help Garry Hill squeeze a little bit more quality into his squad. It was a huge factor in us ‘punching above our weight’ for many seasons and this last year has still added £25,000 to the playing budget. We estimate that fans have contributed well in excess of £200,000 in recent years and have already committed to a further £25,000 this year

The concept is very simple. As ordinary fans we can’t afford on our own to put in the tens of thousands club owners do – but TOGETHER we can make a huge difference. Fans simply contribute £10 plus a month ( and some considerably more) to Boost the Budget and it adds up and makes a big difference. We guarantee 100% of everything donated will add to the playing budget and it has also helped the Cards Trust become the club’s second biggest shareholder with a Director on the Board.

As an example 200 new donors of £10 a month contributes £24,000 more to the playing budget (and combined with a £145 season ticket still costs far less than season tickets three years ago). 100 existing Boost the Budget contributors adding £10 to their contribution would boost Dowse’s budget by £12,000.

Its very simple and, in addition, there are regular draws with winners and their guest experiencing our wonderful match day hospitality.

This season is going to be a huge, but exciting, challenge as a part time team taking on the likes of Notts County, Hartlepool and Chesterfield. Boost the Budget will help Dowse, the players and us all rise to it

Thank you for your support and please do join Boost the Budget if you can afford to – its simple to join either by downloading mandate or collecting paper copy from club shop.

Your support is appreciated COYC

F A Cup Ticket Update

Following discussions with the relevant authorities, ground capacity for the Emirates FA Cup game against Watford has now been fixed at just under 5,600 and following the various priority sales, there are very few tickets for the game remaining. It has therefore been decided that there will not be a general sale.

As was stated in Monday’s post, tickets for the cup tie can still be purchased as part of the lounge hospitality package for Saturday’s game against Eastbourne.

All remaining tickets will be available to purchase on a first come, first served basis on Thursday 3 January upon presentation of the voucher which will be printed in the programme for the Eastbourne game on Saturday. Further details of this sale will be posted next week.

Woking vs Watford Ticket Update

Woking vs Watford, Emirates FA Cup 3rd Round
Sunday 6 January 2:00pm

Following the priority sales to season ticket holders etc on Tuesday and Wednesday, a total of 4,400 tickets for the game have now been sold with the Watford allocation having been sold out immediately they were made available.

This leaves some 950 tickets available for sale – though these are now all for the terraces as the Leslie Gosden and Family Stands have been sold out or been fully allocated. A small number of tickets are being kept back to deal with requests from governing bodies, for mascot packages and other similar commercial initiatives.

Second Stage Priority Sales

Tickets will now be on sale on a first come, first served basis to those supporters holding the voucher issued at the Maidstone game last Saturday – though any season ticket holders, shareholders or Card Trust Members who have yet to apply for tickets may also come along with Voucher A or suitable identity in the case on Cards Trust Members and Shareholders, but will not be given priority on the day.

To be clear, this is not a general sale and nobody without a voucher will be sold a ticket.

  • Tickets will be available on Friday 21th December from 1pm to 4pm
  • Tickets will be sold in the Legends’ Bar but entry and queuing will be via the rear door of the Cardinals’ Bar.
  • Payment will be via cash or debit / credit card only.
  • One ticket per Maidstone voucher will be issued though supporters may bring more than one voucher if buying tickets for friends and family who cannot attend this sale.
General Sales

Should any tickets remain unsold after Friday, these will be on general sale in the week before the game with further details on this being posted here early in the new year.
