HSBC and Boost the Budget

The Trust has finally managed to get things sorted with the bank accounts. Sadly, however, any standing orders for Boost the Budget or membership during the closed period will have been rejected. That will mean that we will have to ask members to re-instate their standing orders as we cannot do it – the account holder needs to.

If you prefer, you can do it on the Trust website using a debit or credit card, that can also work. Memberships are processed using Paypal as the card processor (you don’t need a Paypal account), while Boost the Budget uses Stripe. If you would like to pay your membership with Stripe, contact webmaster@cardstrust.co.uk.

Apologies for all the inconvenience.

A First!

Next Sunday (the 26th September) will see the Archbishop of Canterbury appearing at a football stadium for the first time.

The focus is hope as we move out of the Pandemic and the format is simple – alongside a few short interviews he will speak briefly and then simply take any questions – nothing is off the agenda.
The Archbishop’s section will be from 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm on Sunday 26th September but, prior to that, from 2.50 pm the club will be hosting a short pre-event involving 5 times football freestyle Guinness world record holder Daniel Cutting and interviews with management and players.
Admission is free but by ticket. The easiest thing is simply to book your ticket using the QR code or alternatively email ian.nicholson@wokingfc.co.uk or call 07976351891

Use this code to book.

Player of the Month

As we only had one competitive home match in August and only three in total, we decided to defer the first Player of the Month vote until the end of September. Watch out for news of the first 2021/22 ballot.
