The Trust has finally managed to get things sorted with the bank accounts. Sadly, however, any standing orders for Boost the Budget during the closed period will have been rejected. That will mean that we will have to ask members to re-instate their standing orders as we cannot do it – the account holder needs to.
If you prefer, you can do it on the Trust website using a debit or credit card, that can also work. Memberships are processed using Paypal as the card processor (you don’t need a Paypal account), while Boost the Budget uses Stripe. If you would like to pay your membership with Stripe, contact email@example.com.

Apologies – we have a glitch on our bank account which has caused some problems with Boost the Budget, 400 Club and other bank payments. You may get a note saying that your payment needs to be re-scheduled.
The Trust is working with the bank to fix this and so, for the moment, you should not need to reset up the payments as the bank has told us it will do this. However, we have been advised that it may take 10 days. Your patience and continued support is appreciated!
(Note that this does not affect payments made using the website system, only the direct standing orders)

The accounts seem to have been successfully restored and we are in discussions with the bank about standing orders etc. We’ll report more as the situation becomes clearer.
Thanks to all those that have contributed to Boost the Budget, the 400 Club and have bought Goldrush tickets. As a result of your generosity, the Trust has been able to donate £16,000 to the Club to help with Dowse’s Budget in these tricky times. Although government grants were available for the first half of the season, funds were only available as loans for the second half, so the Club has only (very) limited funds from the sale of streams* and from the Trust. It has been reluctant to take up the loans offered without the income to repay them.
*Note that if you became a Silver/Gold member when it looked as though fans would be allowed back, as they briefly were, you can get streams through to the end of the season without charge. Details are on the Club website here.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to Boost the Budget. Since the ReBoot on August 12th through the generosity of fans the fund has received fifty repeating and one-off donations. Excellent! All monies raised go towards the playing budget; please support if you can during these challenging times.
Volunteers are a crucial part of the operation of Woking FC. We have a proud record in how many ways that volunteers help the club. It’s part of what makes Woking FC so special. Members of the Trust board were part of the team that helped to distribute the new “Get behind the Shirt” team shirts to delighted fans on Saturday. Thanks to those that contributed in the red BTB bucket and completed new BTB mandates!
The Cards Trust Board thanks all supporters for their contributions in recent seasons which have helped Woking FC have an increased playing budget. Boost the Budget is a straightforward way fans can make a big difference by contributing monthly.
300 Boost the Budget monthly contributions of £10 would add £3,000 to the playing fund.
Many relatively small contributions can make a BIG difference whether by monthly standing order or one off donations and bucket collections.
The Trust Board are committed to this form of support for Woking FC.
How does BTB work?
You commit to giving at least £10 per month by standing order to the Cards Trust or donations.
The Cards Trust uses your donation to buy new Woking FC shares/pay the annual capital contribution on new shares.
The Club uses the proceeds to boost playing budget.
There is a quarterly draw for BTB contributors with two tickets to the GC Lounge to the winner
Last season 2019/20 thanks to supporter’s generosity the Trust contributed close to £30,000 to WFC through Boost the Budget, The 400 Club and £4,000 as WFC’ share of Goldrush sales plus monies raised at a Quiz Night.. A fantastic achievement, thank you!
As fans we want to help take Woking FC forward and are aiming to recruit many more members to Boost the Budget for the coming season . Many fans have been contributing in recent years and helped raise in the region of £220,000.
