As you can see from the articles below, the Trust had a busy weekend with the Junior Cards Christmas party and the Player of the month vote.
Away Travel
Sadly, the high Bank Holiday cost and the very small number of bookings for Yeovil has meant that the Trust has had to cancel its planned coaches. Those that had booked have been refunded in full, with apologies. The Trust doesn't expect to profit from away travel, but cannot afford to carry large losses. We are wondering about the feasibility of Kings Lynn. If you feel that you are likely to want a coach to that match on Saturday 8th January, please contact adam.bowyer@cardstrust.co.uk.
Fertiliser Spreader
The Club approached the Trust to help with a new fertiliser spreader to help to continue to improve the tools available to the team that maintains the pitch. The cost of £550 was paid from the 400 Club which was pleased to help.
Match v Westfield FC
There is a match v Westfield FC in the Surrey Senior Cup on Tuesday night. Note that kick off is at 7:30pm. Martin Tyler spoke in the GC Lounge on Saturday about the great memories he has from the SSC and made it clear that the management will put out the best team it can* with the aim of winning. * subject to the limits of the squad.
Cards Trust Office
To help deal with queries on membership, away travel, 400 Club, Boost the Budget and Junior Cards, we are aiming to have the Trust office occupied before matches - from around 2.00pm on Saturday matches. Pop by if you have any queries.
