The Cards Trust hopes you had a good Christmas and New Year if you were able to get a break and we are trying not to think of yesterday's result, but the other two over the holiday period!
We've published the survey for the Player of the Month for December. The vote at the ground will take place on 22nd of January at the next home match against Wealdstone. If you might not remember by then who was good in December, best to vote now!
Alan Barnes has kindly donated a number of items (lapel and blazer badges and Woking FC fridge magnets, with all proceeds going to the support the Trust and away travlel. We expect to have them on the shop for sale by mail order at around the time of the Wealdstone match. We also hope to make them available on the Trust website Shop around that match. We also will have some of Jon Woozley's 100 year badges so that you can buy them without postage charges.
As we reported last time, the Trust has made funds (£550) available for a new fertiliser sprayer for the Club to help maintain the pitch. As you may be aware, Colin Galliford, who has been looking after the ground for 30 years retired at the end of December and was presented with a travel voucher on the pitch by Rosemary Johnson at the Dover game. This support for the Club is only possible thanks to your contributions to Boost the Budget, the 400 Club and Goldrush, so we appreciate your continued support.
